Shruti Haasan’s song ‘Inimel’, which also features the actor along with Lokesh Kanagaraj and with lyrics by Kamal Haasan, is now out. It is also the first time that Lokesh Kanagaraj, who has directed films like ‘Leo’ and ‘Vikram’, is acting.
Lokesh’s acting debut delves in with the present-day relationship among couples. The track directed by Dwarkesh Prabakar revolves into the ups and downs in live-in relationships as well as marriages. The issue of early pregnancy and divorce has also been depicted in the song. Although, Inimel also showcases the warmth and innocence of true love, it doesn’t try to make everything easy-going.
The song celebrates modern romance and tries to appeal to the contemporary audience. It is a nice and breezy song. Sharing the song, production house Raajkamal films International. While the lyrics are by Kamal Haasan, the song is composed and conceptualised by Shruti Haasan herself.
‘Inimel’ means ‘from no on’ and shows the different stages of love. It has been directed by Dwarkesh Prabakar.
In the work front, Shruti Haasan will next be seen in ‘Dacoit’, directed by Shaneil Deo and co-starring Adivi Sesh. The film is being shot in Telugu and Hindi. She also has Philip John’s ‘Chennai Story’.
Lokesh is currently busy with Kaithi 2 and the sequel to Vikram. He has started his own crime universe that is interlinked. Vikram and Leo followed his 2019 action-thriller Kaithi. Kamal, on the other hand is busy with post-production of Indian 2 and Indian 3. He is also a part of Kalki 2898 and Thug Life.
