NESAVU 2022 – Handloom Expo inaugurated at Central Cottage Industries Emporium, Chennai
Chennai, In an endeavor to promote Indian handlooms products and the spirit of craftsmanship, CCIC presents “NESAVU 2022” – an Handloom Expo featuring products handcrafted by Weavers & Master weavers. The Expo is being held from 02nd April to 12th April 2022 in its showroom at Temple Tower, 672, Annasalai, Nandanam, Chennai-600035, from 10:30 am to 8:00pm.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Smt. Darshana Vikram Jardosh, Hon’ble Minister of State for Textiles, Ministry of Textiles

CCIC is the sole Central Government organization marketing finest Indian Handicrafts and Handlooms from all over India through its Emporia in New Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Secunderabad, Gujarat and Chennai. CCIC is having a fully Air-conditioned Emporium of 13,000 Sq.ft at “Temple Tower, No: 672, Anna Salai, Nandanam, Chennai – 600 035”.
The exhibition will showcases exclusive handwoven Sarees, Shawls, Fabrics, Apparels, Accessories, Furnishing, Home Linen & much more from different parts of the country, with the assurance of authenticity, quality & value for money.
India has a rich & diverse textile heritage. The expo provides a glimpse of this marvel and also a platform for the cultural and artistic interchange between weavers and art patrons. The main motto is to encourage visitors to wear Handlooms with pride and to adopt Handloom products in their daily lives. Such initiatives will promote the Indian weavers & textile artists by sustaining their livelihood & providing them with more marketing opportunities and making Atmanirbhar Bharat.
