SRM Medical Collegeconducts 2days’ workshop on Temporal Bone Dissection

Kattankulathur: SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, Kattankulathur (SRM MCH&RC) conducted a two days National workshop STEMCON 2023“Hands-on Temporal Bone Dissection. This was organised by the Departments of ENT and Anatomy. Inaugurated byPro-Vice-Chancellor of SRM MCH& RC, Lt Col Dr. A. Ravikumar.  The expert faculty was led by chief ENT Surgeon, PadmashriProf.Dr. Mohan KameswaranDirector, MERF and Prof.Dr. S. Raghunandhan, Consultant Otologist and Skull base surgeon, MERF.

The workshop aimed to bridge theory and practice in the field of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, fostering Skill development and knowledge transfer in the participants. 150 delegates from all over Tamil Nadu and neighbouring states joined the workshop making it a diverse and vibrant platform for professionals and enthusiasts to explore advancements in ENT through an immersive ‘hands-on’ experience.

The workshop provided a unique opportunity for participants to engage in practical learning, enhancing their understanding of Temporal Bone Anatomy and Surgical techniques through Cadaver dissection.

Also present for the workshop were HOD, Department of ENT,Prof.Dr.Selvarajan,HOD, Department of Anatomy,Prof.Dr.Sundarapandian and Associate Director (Campus Life Management)Mr.Dharmendranath.
