Dr. K.M.CHERIAN RECEIVES MOTHER TERESA AWARD FROM IDF
Chennai, 21st January 2018: Dr. K M Cherian, Chairman and CEO of Frontier Lifeline Hospital was honoured to receive the prestigious `2017 Mother Teresa Memorial Award’ from Dr. ARK Pillai (90), Founder President of Indian Development Foundation (formerly Indian Leprosy Foundation) and the Board of Trustees of IDF at Frontier Life line Hospital, today.The award was in recognition for his outstanding contributions to the advancement of knowledge in cardiology and to the welfare of humanity.
Indian Development Foundation have been conferring Mother Teresa Memorial Award to institutions and persons who have done remarkable work in the areas of leprosy elimination, India’s development and humanitarian work.
On receiving the Award, Dr. Cherian, Chairman and CEO of Frontier Life line said “This award is an incredible honour to me and every day I try my best to live out the wisdom that Mother Teresa gave to the world. I am confident that this success will contribute to further enhancing the standards of our service towards the patients.”
Commenting on the occasion, Dr. ARK Pillai, Founder President of Indian Development Foundation (formerly Indian Leprosy Foundation) and the Board of Trustees of IDF said “I am glad that this time board has decided to give away this award to Dr. Cherian, as he has not only made a great impact in health but has also worked towards development programme for our nation.”
